The Grote Markt is one of the nicest parts of The Hague. The atmosphere on the Grote Markt is always pleasant and the nightlife is mostly creative and quirky. On the square in the middle of the city there are various restaurants that offer something for everyone: from a brown café to a cocktail bar, from a pop venue to a restaurant. In addition, the Grote Markt also bears the 'Popdistrict' label. Under this name live concerts take place throughout the year, organized from a collaboration with pop venue Paard van Troje.
